Are you still interested in the PhD program- I have a position now-see my add. If you are not interested please try to help me and show the add to a colleague who might be interested. Best regards, Ioana
Doctoral Student Position in MEMS Area
I have currently funds to support one graduate student who will work toward
achieving a doctorate at the City College of New York. The area of research
will be in the MEMS field, chem/biosensors. Students who have experience in
MEMS device design or fabrication and/or CMOS technology, electrical
measurements and instrumentation are preferred. The PhD research involves a
high degree of hands-on microfabrication and MEMS device characterization,
and it is desirable that the applicants have relevant backgrounds in these
areas. The successful candidate will prepare the PhD in the area of
Mechanical Engineering. The PhD student will conduct research in my
MEMS/Nanotechnology laboratory at City College and also at Brookhaven
National Laboratory and eventually in Japan, Tohoku University.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills in both written and
spoken English. Applicants should send a resume to Professor Ioana
Voiculescu,
